Byram Hills Senior Mentor (Sept. 2019 - March 2020)
One of two high school seniors selected to help develop real-life and vocational skills in mentally handicapped students through projects and volunteering.
Accomplishments
-Created a recipe book with dishes I helped them make.
-Helped direct a show (was ultimately canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic)
-Created a plant business selling and taking care of plants to teachers.
-Created a directory book detailing every faculty and staff member in the high school
-Took a field trip to the Ronald McDonald House to cook meals for families of sick children.
Byram Hills Theatre Senior (March 2019 - March 2020)
Responsible for being a role-model for younger students, acting as a liaison between the directors and underclassmen, as well as integrating new theatre members into our community.
Accomplishments
-Led vocal and physical warmups before shows and rehearsals
-Helped create a welcoming and supportive community for everyone in theatre.
-Created a unique paper-plate award for each member of the show after the final performance for three productions.
